Terrazzo Mosaico created on

the basis of an original design by Ottavio Missoni.

The material used is made up

of original hand made glass enamel tiles measuring cm. 2x1 approx., following the traditional techniques used in Byzantine and Ravenna mosaics. 

The chromatic effect is very striking. The tiles were hand made by specialist mosaic artisans.

The “carpet” thus formed was subsequently inserted into the surrounding Venetian Terrazzo flooring, with the colouring of the glass chips echoing the dominant chromatic effect of the inlay
